Take your mountain wedding to new heights (literally) by booking a post-ceremony helicopter tour with Alpine Helicopters.

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re now working with Alpine Helicopters to arrange private 55-minute helicopter tours for our couples and their photographers.

The service will be arranged after your ceremony, using the downtime between your “I do’s” and your reception, with a take off time no later than 2:30 p.m.

Taking off from Alpine Helicopter’s Canmore base, located just 2 minutes from the Canmore Ranch ceremony location, your flight will give you a bird’s eye view of Canmore’s most famous mountains.

The aircraft will then touch down at nearly 7,200 feet at Marvel Pass, on the boundary of Banff National Park, where you’ll be surrounded by larch trees, turquoise lakes, and towering peaks. This spectacular location offers breathtaking vistas which will become the perfect backdrop for your mountain wedding photography. You’ll spend 20 minutes celebrating at this private location before reboarding for your return flight back to Canmore just in time for your reception at Cornerstone Theatre.

• Stress-Free Planning: On your wedding day, your Wedding Coordinator will ensure everything runs smoothly and on time so you have lots of time to get to your flight. If weather disrupts your flight plans, your Wedding Coordinator will be in touch with Alpine Helicopters directly so you can focus on enjoying your big day.

Service starts at $1,875 plus GST. Please note that prices will increase for those booking helicopter tours in 2025.

This service does not count towards your minimum spend with Cornerstone Weddings.
