Canmore Nordic Centre – a wedding venue gem in a Provincial Park

The Banquet Room hosts guests up to 80, plus provides a welcome entrance area for your guests.  Also included is a perfect comfy seating area for guests upon arrival or for later in the evening when the dancefloor is pumping and they want a quieter place to enjoy the celebrations.

The Banquet Room showcases the mountain scenery of Mount Rundle and Ha Ling Peak through the floor to ceiling windows, ensuring your mountain wedding shines through all day.

Cornerstone Theatre – where it all began!

Cornerstone Theatre is the first Canmore wedding venue for Cornerstone Weddings.  After hosting dinner theatre for 13 years, the ‘theatre’ doors were closed, and mountain weddings became the focus.  This makes Cornerstone Theatre, the only dedicated wedding venue in Canmore.  This rustic, yet elegant Theatre provides a cozy and romantic venue that’s perfect for any style of mountain wedding up to 200 guests. The Theatre boasts outstanding acoustics for your band or DJ.  In addition, there is an elevated stage that perfectly fits wedding parties up to 12. And finally, the cathedral ceiling provides the grandeur that your wedding deserves. Cornerstone Theatre is a functional and versatile wedding venue that can be transformed to suit your needs.

Canmore Wedding Packages

Both venues – Cornerstone Theatre and the Canmore Nordic Centre offer Canmore wedding packages and services for your one stop shop needs.  The venues offer the same products and services to ensure your wedding day is perfect in every way.  Beginning with your indoor or outdoor ceremony, we provide full ceremony wedding packages.  These include not only your chairs, set up and tear down, but also a PA system, signing table and archway.  Plus, Cornerstone Weddings provides your personal Wedding Coordinator is there to ensure you get hitched without a hitch! Our Wedding Coordinators are there from your food tasting and planning meeting to your wedding day.  They provide guidance, support, and their professional expertise to all our wedding couples.

For the wedding reception, services include – food and beverage for your entire day.  From appetizers and prosecco at your outdoor ceremony to butler passed hors d’oeuvres for your welcome reception.   Obviously, plated and buffet dinners are served and we always ensure we take care of your guests with any dietary or allergy requirements.  To end the evening, we ensure the crowd-pleasing late-night snacks are plentiful and filling.

Without a doubt, our couples comment often on our comprehensive set up and tear down service.  This includes not only the regular items such as tables and chairs but also your centerpieces, lobby or welcome reception area, guest book table and more.  Furthermore, at the end of the evening our fabulous team pack everything away and have it available to you the next morning.  This complete service ensures you can relax, enjoy your day and let Cornerstone take care of the details.

They help take so much of the stress out of the planning process, and having Nicole as our Day Of coordinator was amazing! She did a great job at organizing and making sure the day went just as we imagined it would. We had tons of feedback that everyone loved the food. The DJ, Gaston, was great and kept the dance floor going all night long! Amazing day that we’ll remember for years to come!
