5 Things to Do in Canmore in 3 hours

 

Most wedding couples take about 3 hours after their ceremony to have photos taken with their bridal party.  This can potentially leave your guests at a bit of a loose end before you open the doors for your reception.  Read through our blog and take a look at 5 things to do in Canmore in 3 hours.

1. Brewery/Distillery Tours in Canmore

Canmore is home to 3 local breweries – Grizzly Paw, Canmore Brewing Company and Sheepdog Brewing and 1 distiller – Wild Life Distillery

Visit them and enjoy a tour or find a local bar and sit back and enjoy their products.

2. Hungry?

Table Food and Drink located at the Coast Hotel Canmore is a 5 minute walk from Cornerstone Theatre.  Enjoy lunch and a couple of cocktails in their restaurant and outside patio.  In addition, opposite the Coast Hotel is the newly built Shops of Canmore.  Check out The Sensory, for great lunch options and even better cocktail menu.

3. Helicopter Flight

Treat yourself and your family to a once in a lifetime scenic helicopter flight  in the Canadian Rockies with Alpine Heli. Flights offer breathtaking scenery of the local mountains and lakes.  The heli-pad is located just a couple of mins drive from the theatre.  Furthermore, their Three Sisters Peaks Tour showcases Spray Lakes, the magnificent Sundance Mountain Range and the rugged peaks of the Canadian Rockies.  Plus, the return flight highlights the Town of Canmore and the meandering Bow River.

4. Stretch your legs

Looking to stretch your legs and brush away the cobwebs?  Take a short stroll along Policeman Creek, enjoy the sights along Main Street, or pop into the numerous art galleries in the downtown core.  If you have more time on your hands there are many hikes in Canmore to explore including Grassi Lakes and Ha Ling Peak.

5. Winter Activities in Canmore
